I'm a lifelong bird watcher and nature photographer who's spent the last fifteen years learning to spot and identify birds across different habitats. What started as casual backyard watching has evolved into a genuine passion for understanding the visual details that make each species unique. I love helping people move past generic "oh, it's a small brown bird" observations and actually *see* the distinctive marks, colors, and behaviors that define each species. When I'm not observing birds or combing through field notes, you'll find me hiking local trails with a camera or sketching bird profiles in my notebook. I have two rescue cats who've learned to peacefully coexist with my bird-feeding station outside the kitchen window.
